Questions customers ask before starting.

Is ECS Fargate serverless?

Fargate is serverless compute for containers: AWS manages the underlying server capacity while you define the container task or pod requirements.

When should we use Lambda instead of containers?

Lambda is well suited to event-driven and request-driven functions with compatible runtime constraints. Containers may be better for long-running services, custom runtimes or applications already packaged as containers.

Can serverless reduce AWS cost?

It can for suitable usage patterns, especially variable demand, but cost depends on workload behavior. Architecture should be evaluated rather than assuming serverless is always cheaper.

Can you migrate an EC2 application to serverless?

Yes, when the application can be replatformed or refactored sensibly. Some workloads are better modernized to Fargate or managed services rather than Lambda.

Do you build CI/CD for serverless applications?

Yes. We deploy serverless applications and infrastructure through automated pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
