AWS Well-Architected Review

Find the AWS risks that matter before they become incidents.

A Well-Architected Review evaluates an AWS workload across the six pillars of the AWS Well-Architected Framework, turning architecture observations into a prioritized improvement backlog.

How we approach it

Architecture, execution and operations in one plan.

We keep the work tied to business outcomes: security, availability, delivery speed, cost control and a platform that can keep evolving after launch.

01

Operational Excellence

We review how the workload is deployed, observed, operated and improved, including runbooks, automation, ownership and incident learning.

The focus is repeatability and continuous improvement.

02

Security

Identity, data protection, detection, infrastructure protection and incident response are assessed against the workload’s risk profile.

Findings are prioritized based on material exposure rather than a generic checklist.

03

Reliability

We review failure management, recovery, scaling, quotas, dependencies and resilience against the workload’s RTO/RPO and availability requirements.

The goal is to understand where the architecture can fail and how it recovers.

04

Performance and cost

Resource choices, scaling, architecture, utilization and cost drivers are reviewed together so performance improvements do not create uncontrolled spend.

The result is a practical backlog with business context.

05

Sustainability

Workload efficiency, resource utilization and managed-service choices are reviewed for opportunities to reduce unnecessary resource consumption.

Sustainability often aligns with cost and operational efficiency.

FAQ

Questions customers ask before starting.

What are the six Well-Architected pillars?

Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency, Cost Optimization and Sustainability.

Is a Well-Architected Review a penetration test?

No. It is an architecture and operational review, not an application penetration test.

Do you implement the recommendations?

Yes. Ghaim can continue from assessment into remediation, automation, migration or managed operations.

Can a review focus on one critical workload?

Yes. A review is most useful when the scope is a defined workload or platform with clear business requirements.

Can this support Saudi Region readiness?

Yes. A review can identify architecture, resilience, security and operations gaps before a migration into the new Saudi AWS Region.
